UL (WTDP) witness test authorization qualification

Speaking of UL, I believe that many factory friends and foreign trade friends are familiar with it. UL is highly recognized by American consumers. They are willing to spend more money to buy UL certified products. Therefore, in order to better occupy the American market, UL certification is also very important for our Chinese factories.

There are many large and small testing companies on the market that claim to be able to apply for UL certification. Here I would like to briefly explain to you the problem of selecting testing companies for UL certification. UL has always established UL Meihua Certification Co., Ltd. in China and CCIC, and the UL certificate is issued by the company. Therefore, when applying for UL certification, you can directly send your factory friends to UL Meihua Certification Co., Ltd. for testing, The third party laboratory authorized by UL can also be selected for testing.

The difference between the two is that: the former fails to test, and will charge a new test fee, while the latter, a third-party laboratory authorized by UL, can retest for free and rectify for free. For this reason, most companies are willing to cooperate with third-party laboratories authorized by UL.

So there are so many testing companies, how to choose? Select "UL authorized third-party laboratory", that is, if a third-party laboratory has been authorized by UL to test, they can show the UL authorization statement document and inquire.
